Island Images - The Isle of Man in Pictures

A typical Manx Keeil site, this is Keeil Vreeshy near Crosby.  There were probably around 200 of these early Christian sites on the island, dating from around the 8th century and replaced by later parish churches, often constructed on keeil sites.
